Jaime Wyatt, the fashionable alt-country songwriter based in Nashville, released her new single “World Worth Keeping” last month from her upcoming album Feel Good that hits streaming platforms in November.

The video for the single starts out with beautiful landscape shots of mountains mixed with flowers and close ups. The editing style and filters bring us back in time for a 1970s vibe. The drums and guitar create an anthem style upbeat feeling that brings us back to Woodstock.

“This generation has not just war in the east, but there’s a war, deep within, and Mother Nature is raising her voice, by hurricane, fire and wind.Do you feel me? Do you see me, here I am
Do you hear me? Do you see me, do you hear me, here I am,” Wyatt sings.

The song reminds us a bit of the viral hit “Rich Men North of Richmond” by Oliver Anthony with its hints towards economic inequality and climate change.

“We kissed the ring from the billionaire’s sleeve, yeah, we let ‘em poison the roots. I’d like my people and yours to see all of the earth in its bloom,” Wyatt sings.

“World Worth Keeping” has already reached over 60,000 listeners on Youtube.

The landscape of the video also reminds us of watercolors with its visual art. Joshy Soul plays keys, Ryan Smith on lead guitar, Scott Davis plays bass and Will Rockwell plays drums. Spice-India Reynolds, Roy Patten and Angela Miller provide background vocals. The song was released by New West Records.
